Bespoke Fitted Bedroom in Alderley Edge, Cheshire

Hart Bespoke Furniture designed and crafted a stunning bespoke fitted bedroom for Mr and Mrs T in Alderley Edge, Cheshire. From the outset, the brief focused on creating a truly luxurious space, and the team translated that vision into a cohesive design. As a result, they combined classic Shaker craftsmanship with refined detailing, while also selecting premium hardware and planning a carefully considered layout to maximise the entire room.

Project Highlights

• Shaker style cabinetry with detailed fretwork – the team crafted all cabinetry in a classic Shaker style, while adding detailed fretwork to introduce a layer of refinement and individuality rarely seen in fitted bedroom furniture.
• Spray finished in Farrow & Ball Stiffkey Blue – the team spray finished the entire bedroom in Farrow & Ball Stiffkey Blue, using its deep, rich tone to create a dramatic yet elegant character. The colour works beautifully against the dark brushed brass hardware throughout.
• Hendel & Hendel Fitzrovia Long Bar Handles and Knobs in Dark Brushed Brass. Hardware was selected from the Hendel & Hendel Fitzrovia range. We combined long bar handles and knobs in a Dark Brushed Brass finish. The result is a premium, considered detail that elevates the entire design.
• Three Double Wardrobes – The wardrobe run comprises three full double wardrobes, providing generous storage across the room. The two central wardrobes feature mirrored doors with matching fretwork detailing. A beautiful and practical touch that adds light and depth to the space.
• Internal Shoe Drawers – Dedicated shoe drawers were incorporated internally within the wardrobe run. Keeping footwear organised and easily accessible while maintaining the clean lines of the exterior.
• Integrated internal lighting – the team fitted lighting throughout the wardrobes, ensuring the full storage space feels beautifully illuminated while remaining practical to use at any time of day.. There was also spot lighting in the open section to the media to showcase ornaments.
• Media section with large drawer packs – on the opposite side of the room, the team designed a bespoke media unit, incorporating two large drawer packs below. As a result, it provides substantial storage for clothing and bedroom essentials while keeping the space organised.
• Open Display Section with TV Housing – Above the drawer packs, an open section provides a dedicated home for the television and a generous display area. Keeping the media wall feeling open and uncluttered.
• Glass Top – A striking glass top sits above the drawer packs, adding a refined. Including a luxurious finish that sets this media section apart and brings a lightness to the design that perfectly balances the depth of the Stiffkey Blue cabinetry.
